Limited Edition Cast Bronze Likeness of Red Auerbach
The Foundation offers its limited edition cast bronze likeness of Red Auerbach, sculpted by Doug Corsini and produced by Royal Tara. The statue, a desktop replica of the famous Faneuil Hall piece, captures Red complete with a victory cigar and championship ring. Red's signature and famous quote, "The Celtics are a basketball team, and a way of life", adorn the base. The initial cast of 250 statues commemorates Red's 50 years in the NBA and reads "50 Years of Greatness". Contributions will benefit the Red Auerbach Youth Foundation's programs.
